Focus on … ovarian cancer

A lovely client has asked me to share information about Ovarian Cancer with as many people as possible. Whilst this isn’t a comprehensive guide it gives a few details and lists places you can go for further information.

There are few symptoms in the early stages of ovarian cancer. Later symptoms include:

• bloating
• loss of appetite
• feeling full quickly when eating
• nausea and increased wind
• bloated feeling
• lower abdomen pain
• lower back pain
• increased stomach size
• pain during sexual intercourse
• changes in bowel and bladder habits
• symptoms don’t seem to come and go – with you most of the time.

If you are worried you should see your doctor, however, many of these are also symptoms of other conditions.
